Clague and Pilot have passed Fitz on the defense depth chart.

I like throwing Vinnie up top. We control the line matchup, and Vinnie will bring added North South speed for the line. This also throws Tuch to Cozens and Peterka, which makes a formidable line, and they match against Vegas top line for sure.

We have 2 players with more points than Jack in less games. No reason we can't beat Vegas. Pieterangelo and Theadore are the key to Vegas. Our forwards need to challenge them immediately. Give them space and they'll kill us.

I am hoping for quick breakouts, hit your outlet before they can get on you. Use your speed to get on there defense, get traffic to the net.

They don't need to win in order to connect to the fan base. They can still "win" without winning

But if the players and management really are serious about getting fans back full-time, then they need to dig deep and find a W here, Vegas skill be damned

This announcer loves sticking it to Sabre fans. I've heard "near sellout" and "near capacity" enough already. He could just say nice crowd, big crowd, loud croud. Annoucers take their shots in subtle ways.

My BIL from southern California wanted to go to his first Sabres game and I recommended this one. We had six interested but $90 per person was way too high
