I appreciate him going for the ENG with a minute left. And I appreciate him not bailing out, but if looked up he might not have be leveled. Probably better move to not go for the goal there once you see the other guy lining you up as you skate around the corner.

I believe he has 1 more year, so yes he is waiver exempt. Really don't see the harm in it. Kid has actually played better up here. Probably cause it's more structured on the ice. Played very well down in Rochester with that D in front of him. Hell of a 3rd last night. Stopped 19 of 20 shots.

I havent been following to closely ,but upl hasn't been pushing for an NHL spot like a 13OA type goalie in Spencer.

If upl puts together some good games, absolutely call him up.

I posted the other day saw 2 to 4 weeks, he got lucky and has a grade 1 sprain. I would be surprised if he played, more likely next week. It will be basically be 2 weeks then.

If Rousek had bailed, what would the fan reaction have been?

I believe he knew there was a chance he was going to get hammered, and he decided to take the calculated risk to try and win the game by scoring the empty net goal there over his own physical well being.

Isn't that the kind of player Sabres fan want on the team: those that will do anything to win?

I'm more interested in Raddysh's game plan there, as it looked identical to Scheifele's plan in the playoffs against Montreal that he received a lengthy suspension over.
