One guy is a pending UFA and has expressed that he's tired of losing. The other guy just signed a new contract.

I hope Horvat gets a few points tonight and puts more pressure on Rutherford.

One guy who has done all that was asked of him and more and the other who had a '100 point' season and got paid and is lazy, pouty and selfish.

It's a bizarre situation. Management chooses to bring the head coach back when they had the chance to walk away and then complains about him just a few weeks into the season.
- Nucker101

JR complained in the off season as well. JR also didn't hire him in the first place or give him the contract or the contract of the other coach they're paying. Then JR and BB worked together to add to the coaching staff.

Ok, cancel my 6-3 Ottawa score, 4-3 Ottawa, in OT.
Martin maintains his regulation point streak.

They complained about him in the off season, too. It's been fairly consistent.

Just to be clear here, we're talking about Bo Horvat and Noah Dobson

The Canucks had to agree to bring Boudreau back, I believe it was a mutual contract option for this season. Either party had the right to walk away after last season.

If you have to fire two coaches in a row in back to back seasons, then you probably have bigger problems then the head coach. Time for management to walk the walk instead of just trying to say the right things.

I believe management also hired Yeo, after Boudreau's guy Walker left.

"I hope we can sign him. If we can't sign him, the better we play, the better return we're going to get for him. It works out for everybody. But ideally, we figure out a way to keep Bo in VAN." -Rutherford.

Sounds the same as when they signed Miller in the off season.

Trading away Richardy for Stillman was the first sign of weakness from management.

Bruce and Yeo are buddies. I think Bruce got Yeo, Management got Colliton.

I actually had high hopes for Stillman, I like his physicality. But man, you still have to play.

Thought the right side was the problem but the left has looked worse in most games.

Edit: Richardy 7 points in 10 games. That would have been a win for Benning if Richardy would have played like that in Van.

Glad they didn't give up much for Bear but I'd rather the Canucks sell. Even if players aren't worth a ton, the general mix is not good enough and adding spare parts isn't going to move the needle. Rather see them lose even though that has no guarantee they will make the right decision.

Jason Dickinson didn't fit the age group that the management originally started at 25, then changed it to 26 when they signed Kuzmenko.
Oh wait, Mikheyev and Miller didn't either, Mikheyev is actually a year older than him.
