I honestly don't care enough this year. I watch as much or as little as I feel like on game night.

If you want high draft picks, then you need to do a lot of losing, so I am buckled in and not angry. I would be less calm if they finish as a bubble team.

If you want to have a good team then you have to make a decision to win often or lose often, none of this sitting in the middle.

I don't like Rutherford but this is where I hope his past experience of owning two elite players (Crosby and Malkin) comes in and he says get Bedard. They only need to repeat their first 12 games six more times and they will be in the running for a top pick.
