We certainly did not deserve to win that game but wow was that some horrible officiating.

Barzal looks great skating but he is definitely snakebitten with his shot. The whole team was off, shooting wise today. Many, many missed opportunities.

I predicted the Isles would win this game today... especially since they had a 5 game win streak going. Husso was the best player for Detroit today. He's cemented the starting spot in goal. Hope he can keep it up.

Redwings did a great job blocking lanes and jamming them up in the neutral zone. That’s why their passing was shoddy and transition game was non existent and that was the main component for why we didn’t win imo. Redwings played a good game and we couldn’t figure them out.

Look at it this way - if your going to get shafted by the refs it may as well be in a game where it probably didn't make a difference.
