Quotes aren't working:

Forgive my ignorance on this, was there some falling out or controversy as to why not earlier?
- NC Flyers Fan

I have no idea but I doubt it, Allen was not a controversial figure in any way.

I looked and I see him as the 1st GM, so if that's true, it's dope. They only had back to 2016 on their site, past winners were Uncle Charlie, B Dawk, etc. KA seems to be the 1st in Front office management inducted.

Star player, there would be an issue if they didn’t defend him
- wcorvette

It was a cowardly move, imo

If you're down by a couple of goals then sure, try to draw a penalty. But to run away after you start some poop is such a chump move.
I hope that other players around the league have taken notice and I hope that a few of them have a few liberties on him soon.

And why didn't Torts send out ND and McEwen soon after. Isn't that what they're here for?

looks like guy who shows like he wants to belong. Probably not going to be a 50 goal scorer but someone who is willing to compete. Just like Frost. Forget about him being this offensive juggernaut. Just because he was drafted to be one doesn’t make that his responsibility . The Flyers job is to draft assess and put these players in a position to succeed. Frost has the potential to be a good defensive player who can chip in with goals. Bellows has the same potential with a little more snarl. Expect 10-15 goals a season from both of them. Doesn’t make them a bust makes them useful NHL players. If you or anyone else on this board has the winning formula please apply to the flyers management.

If Frost has to become a defensive player who chips in offense, he's not going to have much of an NHL career.

Ever watch Bobby Clarke play?? He started more fights and ran away from more fights than Matthew's ever will.

The Michigan Powerball is over a billion. I’ve been using the Flyers numbers on the back of their sweaters as my numbers for my tickets.

No wonder why I never win..

He blocking a Aube-Kubel (who is considerably better) waiver pick up. Flyers caped out and have 50 "professional" contracts. 🥳 🎉 🪅

Why have guys like that to take care of the rough stuff when your star players should be doing it themselves?

Clarke did?! I was too young then to watch him play and remember it but wow... a lot of respect is lost for that guy it that's how he was. How can you be a member of the broad street bullies but run away from a fight.

No wonder why I want him fired. My philly soul knows he was a punk (although he was an excellent hockey player.. before one of you get your panties wadded up)

Clarke was famous for it. Slash someone from behind and then let Dave Schultz handle it. If anyone even tried to breath on Clarke , they got pummeled

What a cowardly. No wonder this franchise os the way that it is right now with him calling the shots. I've never been more disappointed in a childhood favorite player then I am right now. I'm speechless...and disappointed. What a coward

And that's why philly is s gutter dwelling team. Let the stars push you around and don't even have your goons do what they're supposed to do. This franchise fails on so many levels

I'm hoping Bellows needs a change of scenery and makes some progress. I've only seen a small sample bc mainly watching the Phils. Like Frosty, I don't really notice Bellows. I want them both to get more ice time to see what they can do.

As for NAK, i always liked him but most people constantly complained about his "stupid penalties" and suddenly changed their tune when he went to Colorado.

Man! I got some announcements from the flyers. Next Tuesday they’re going to wear long pants and ugly shirts for warmups and next Saturday they’re going to show a video of Giroux to remind fans what a Flyer player with elite talent looks like. Does it get any better? Yay Flyers!
