Spare me the nonsene expected anything stat. I'll stick with objective numbers based upon objective data. He let's in too many goals per shots against. That doesn't need to be massaged; it needs to be improved. He let's in one crap goal per game, sometimes two like Saturday night. That doesn't need to be explained with arbitrary expected stats; it needs to end. He lets in at least 3 goals a game. Those are things backups do.

Results matter. Thinking otherwise gets you year 12 of no playoffs.

Yes, do you believe every stat a website gives has been rigorously verified? I know what I've seen this year. Two great games for Comrie to start and downhill since then. Maybe he'll swing it back to the great game form. Saturday night scared me.

The only reason Mogilny should be retired is because he risked his life to come play here. That's it. He didn't even play half his career here.

Our best D right now are a Rookie, and 2 regular bottom pair guys.

Relaxxx on Comrie. We played great against 2 perennial teams with half an NHL D corps.

The longer this goes the more speculation will grow.

IMO they know there is an issue and they are getting multiple opinions on course of action timeframe etc. .

No, it sounds to me you only like the eye test and counting stats.

Take some time and read up on various advanced stats rather than dismissing them out of hand without knowing what they are calculating.
They aren't perfect, but they provide another perspective that absolutely must be considered.

If you dismiss them, you are doing yourself a diservice.

Yes could be from your blue line or 2ft in front of the net, there the same.

29 shots against ain't exactly getting blitzed. The Sabres got as many chances as they gave up. Skinner was robbed a half dozen times before he scored. The team played well enough for 2 points. Certainly for 1.

Every point matters this year. Not for Kevyn Adams, but for some us.
