how many kids did we see get bullied on a regular basis in jr high and high school, a lot

he was a scum bag back in jr and high school, probably still a scum bag

but that doesn't mean if an nhl team wants to take a chance on him, he should be denied

I'm with you that people (especially kids) deserve second chances. Kids can be cruel and sometimes do bad things just to fit in. He needs to honestly and sincerely atone for what he did.

Speaking out against bullying, community service and public contrition would be a start. Use this horrible story to be a force for positive change in the world.

I dont believe the right answer is to say that one (frank) up (even an extended one) means your life should be irreversibly messed up. But it's up to him to show active contrition

People, young or old need to earn their second chance IMO. They need to initiate the change, instead of going through the motions to get a payday.
