Already got picks 7 and 38.

Ottawa very well could hand them another top 15 pick this year in a loaded draft (maybe top 10 if they keep playing like this).

Better get Debrincant signed long term or else that is a rebuild starter

Carolina is gonna be a tough game, .. it almost feels like it's going to be a carbon copy of the Edmonton game, .. but these next couple of games are certainly going to give us a better understanding about where this group of young bloods stands in the NHL.

On the topic of whether or not to boo/ not boo Eichel, .. just remember what the mutt said after the last game (when Krebs/ Tuch both outplayed/ outclassed him), .. I'm not saying he deserves the full throated boo that Chara/ Jagr/ Domi have received from Sabre faithful, but the only way he doesn't get to that status is by showing some humility in his dealings w/ the media, and his on ice demeanor as well.

If he is full Eichel douche (which I fully expect him to be), then expect the boos to be raining down.

We would be only taking 1.8m, he's a FA at the end of the year, highly doubt you are getting anything like that. Maybe a prospect or I would take Ottawa's 3rd

Holl is a nice idea for defensive depth. He's not very good though. Personally I'd rather have Casey Fitzgerald.

But, maybe he plays better under Donnie. Still, give me a 2nd round pick.

last year he was alright. This year he's worse. But so is the whole team and the sample is small. I can definitely tell you that he's their Joker.

He plays to many minutes there, has the occasional brain fart. Cut down his minutes and see what happens. He was actually decent the 2 prior years to that. I can't say he will work, but we are putting pieces together to build a championship puzzle. He might come in and actually fit one of those pieces. If he doesn't work oh well it cost you 1.8m, but if it does you just found a cheap 3rd pair guy.
Sabres could have a Defensive Dman on every pair that will block over a 100 shots and have over a 100 hits, 2 have already done it the other Samuelsson has already done the hit part, just needs to stay healthy for the other. I am just trying to fit pieces, sometimes you got to look at a few to find the right fit.
