You would think by now they would get prepared to beat Carolina. These phux beat them out of a Stanley Cup that they easily would have won against the Oilers. But no, they do not even get fired up for the game and play hard. Now they will lose to Tampa, Montreal, St. Louis, Boston, etc. I hope they prove me wrong. We shall see.

Rasmus Dahlin was 6 when that series took place. He doesn't give a poop about an ECF series from 16 years ago.

Yeah, overall pretty entertaining game. Third was probably frustrating though as the Canes went into lockdown mode.

Having the Staal line really gives them an element that's tough to match because they just get it deep and spend the rest of the shift grinding away in the offensive zone.

They use that forecheck as a defensive weapon. Opponent can't score if the puck is in their end.

Tell ya, don't know if Weissbach will ever see time on the big roster. But the kid has really upped his game, playing very well and he's got a lot of bite to his game. Little Rat out there that can shoot the puck.

Sounds good, was thinking Kulich or Quinn. Sabres are gonna be able to roll 4 lines that will have speed and forecheck on everyone. One of my favorite prospects Nadeau hasn't even hit the system yet, unfortunate shoulder injury. He's gonna be a monster with the work he has done to improve his skating.

Yeah, I didn't expect him until next year anyway. It would have been nice to see him at the prospects challenge. Kid has gotten even bigger. 6'3 215lbs. He exploded last year after working with a private skating coach. He's gonna be a beast.

Sabres should really think about adding someone who won't kill you and can take care of business. I am all for team toughness, but Dahlin shouldn't be taking a right to the chops and they guy walked out the the arena adding a goal and nobody even tried to hit him. Love Cozens and Tage are willing but last thing we need is them breaking a hand. Young team, other teams are gonna try and take advantage of that.

I think they are the Baltimore Orioles of the NHL.

A team nobody gave a slight chance to going into this year that will be in the thick of things till the end but ultimately come up short.

A few adds to the team though at the deadline and perhaps they break their drought like the Mariners did.

Against the good teams. We will be completely out gunned and out manned and get rolled. See the hurricanes and panthers games

We are still not ready to compete at a high level. Too many weak links

Yup. Decent offensive line. (They have injuries now) Good weapons at WR and RB. Some Tighend that actually is playing well.

If the Sabres ever become a contender or a half way decent team. Then add some grit. Like the rangers did with reeves once they had all the pieces in place to be decent
