Three worst players to start the year are Blais Reaves and trouba

Agreed laf and kakko need to put up points. To be fair most of the big players aren’t scoring much currently due to low shooting %. They desperately need chytl back and Reaves off that 4th line

I was one that was okay with the signing and $ considering we needed a culture change; but he has not done his enforcers job at all and his foot speed is killings any chance of a sustained forecheck on that 4th line.

Blais just looks like he can't keep up at the moment. Not surprising on a recently rebuilt knee. He needs a little leeway for a month or so. He is definitely engaged in the play when it gets clogged up and slows down a little.

I have been to almost every home game this season and I tell ya Kreider looks like complete dog shyt. Maybe my expectations are higher after last season but that line in particular was nowhere to be found last night. The Rangers want to compete with the big boys that line needs to be a difference maker on most nights 5v5. In my opinion Kakko has looked the best out of the 3.

Trouba is a mess and getting Mcdonagh vibes when he became captain. Minus 5 in his last 5 games ain’t going to cut it from your top shutdown defenseman. Last nights performance made me nauseous the way he played.

Kreider does this though. Very very streaky player, especially if you look at last season as an anomaly. I did find it interesting that Vesey took his place for a few shifts and that’s when he scored his goal. Kreider has become extremely 1 dimensional though. Would love to see him up the physicality on the forecheck and make more of an impact beyond the PP.

I agree as well on kreider. His shooting % is also so low which should improve. PP he looks solid but 5v5 is a problem

I see the view, not sure i am there yet and don’t think the captaincy is impacting his play. But can understand the correlation between the two

Well, unsurprisingly, I don't see any news about a hearing for Pasternak.

Kreider looks so odd this year. Doesnt have the speed, isnt strong on the puck and his passing looks so off

wonder how long Lindy will be out for?

Kreider was invisible last night. Usually takes a bit for him, he'll pick it up. Maddening how streaky he is.

I dont think getting the C has effected Trouba's play and I don't think not getting the C has effected Kreider's play either

both just need to play better
