The bottom 6 is bad. Need chytl back and Reaves has to stop playing. They are a liability as a line bc of him

Why can't we have nice things like Taryn Hatcher?

Neither Carpenter nor Reaves have done a single memorable thing this season.

Trouba a mess tonight with a -3. Guys gotta find his game.

Not sure what to make of tonight otherwise. Laf and Kakko both look good, just gotta find the back on the net.

Totally out played. There’s been way to many passengers so far this year.
It’s going to be harder to get points this year with the improvement of the non playoff teams from last year. I’ll wait til the 20 game mark to panic.. lol

Laf and Kk do look good but man they need to start putting the puck in the net. I had Laf as a 30 30 guy this year, better get on his horse to help me cash in

10-1 so far. Bruins turned it on in the second and never looked back.
And Krejci expected back next week to boot.

Kakko has had a few plays within inches of being in the NHL season highlight reel. Once one of those goes in I think he’s off to the races.

It’s pretty clear Laf is really frustrated. He’s mixing it up every shift which I don’t hate but wonder if he’s getting a little distracted. He’s making it way too hard on himself.

The best thing about last nights game is the terrific color scheme of the alternate jerseys.

Anyone who was paying attention in the off and preseason knew that the organization was hoping the “kids” would take the next step in their development to round out the top 9. While both Kakko and Laf have shown some improvement in their overall game, neither one has consistently shown the ability to score at a rate acceptable for a 1st and 2nd overall draft pick. There wasn’t much Drury could have done differently, strapped by a ridiculous salary cap, and the promise of brighter days for the kids, his immediate future plan was clear. Sink or swim with them and hope they produce. They haven’t, not yet.

Agreed laf and kakko need to put up points. To be fair most of the big players aren’t scoring much currently due to low shooting %. They desperately need chytl back and Reaves off that 4th line

I think there’s a really good chance they both put up 15ish points in the next 20 games. Realistically, they each should have 3-4 more points based on their play and the number of near misses by them and their line mates.
