the music does have to stop at some point. the cup contender time has been over for a little while, but even being a top third or quarter team in the league is something that cant happen forever.

its still frustrating to see it happen this way, when crosby and to a lesser extent letang and malkin are still front line players. (with guentz being a top ten winger). its self inflicted. unfortunately the talent level is no longer there due to the aging curve to simply rise above their own self hinderance as an organization.

Sully doesn't help there...2nd of a back to back and he plays the 35 year olds 20 minutes and Kap/Heinen only 8. That continues and it will only get worse.

Heinan was a victim of circumstance and Kap doesn't deserve to wear an NHL jersey. I can not imagine what Hextall was thinking.
