Now is the inept power play a result of the personnel on the ice, or the personnel behind the bench?
- Wildschwein

I have to think it's the personnel as the same problem has happened with multiple coaches.

I think coaching and setting up a system is more so for the PK. Zone entry is a thing for the PP but other than that these guys are pro’s and it’s always about getting the puck to the open man to snipe while screening the goalie. Brock came as advertised, 2nd line 2 way center…..love him. But that lefty shot used to be Tavares. They need a Sniper on that side.

I like the PP this year in the players are moving and finding the soft spots where they were stationary for the most part in years past. Also they are getting the puck into the bumper position for shot opportunities this year where again in the past that was non existent. This is only for PP1 because PP2 is dreadful.

Blues getting called out after last game for not competing so far this year has them playing with a purpose here tonight. Have to survive the first 10 minutes. First goal gonna be big.

They’ve been better late actually out shouting the Blues now. Gotta keep skating.

I don't think it was too bad. We knew the Blues would come out firing. Sorokin kept them in it. Without him they may be down 3 or 4. The longer this stays close the better it is for the Isles.

Wally w a pretty sloppy period. Last 5-7mins isles picked it up. Sorokin is a beast.

Yeah, the Blues were on a mission, having got called out by their GM. Let's see if they shot their wad, however, and maybe the Isles can begin to take over the play.

The best goaltender I’ve ever seen on this team pure talent wise and otherwise imo. The kid is incredible.

The Blues are pressing. The longer this stays close the more they will feel the pressure.

He has the ability to keep them in any game. It's so nice to see.

One of the best goaltenders I’ve seen in my life of course with a very limited sample size. The guys talent is unbelievable. He’s so quick.
