I am as bullish as anyone here about the team. We have stunk for 12 years - I think we can cut the fans a break. I turned down free tix to be with my kids. |

Worst franchise in hockey ever. Probably gonna take a bit for people to care |

I am sure they would give more for the right guy. I bet Beane is still kicking himself for not getting Von last year. |

The Panthers say hola.
Even in hockey mad Buffalo, winning, or at least being a threat to win, or at least putting on a good semblance that you actually care about winning, matters. And fans, no matter how loyal, will only put up with the losing bullpoop for so long before finding other things to do.
Imagine that.
Edit, honestly, the main thing that kept me supporting the Panthers all along through the bullpoopt was the memory of living in the hockey exile that FL was when I first moved here. Sucky hockey is, after all, better than no hockey....at least you can go watch the good players on the visiting team
10 yr old me- When are we going home?!!?
“Why, my dear? You’ve already made several new friends here.”
They don’t even know what a fukking hockey stick is...how the fukkkk can we live here!!!

That’s great that you did that. Yeah my generation grew up hockey nuts but we have sucked and eichel was an unlikeable goof. I see why the next generation doesn’t care.

He said he tried three times since 2019. Not his fault the Broncos didn't make him available. |

Not a joke. Eichel is a douche. He always has been. I wouldn’t take him back on this team for a late 6th. I vote to never draft anyone from boston again.
Reinhart folds under pressure. Always did good when we were out of playoff race. Folded like a bad suit in the playoffs. I wouldn’t take him back even if he autographed something for boss.

We're catching Pittsburgh on the 2nd night of a back to back. Get ready for another whipping tomorrow. |

Bills need a safety for depth. Just a vet that can guide the young guys on the field if Poyer keeps getting banged up.
We also desperately need a WR. Id go get Jeudy, no matter the cost. This is THE year. If Diggs or Davis get hurt long term, then what? |

Semi understandable last night was a bad night for parents. I still think attendance was pathetic for a market where most of us played at least a few years of ice hockey as kids. Water under the bridge for last night. Tomorrow night is tomorrow night. Take the boxing gloves off and dig into those deep pockets, buzzards. If nothing else, buy 300 level seats and move down after the 1st.
edit: just looked at Ticketmaster's map. half the arena is still for sale for tomorrow night. pathetic.
Cheap, cheap, cheap. No other word for it. |

One of the things I miss most about home. I have to watch 67 dunks and every NFL highlight, F1. Soccer highlights on ESPN before I’ll see any mention of this |

Or as I’ve been saying. It’s going to take more than a few wins to get people back. They are going to need to show they are a good team for at least 50% if the season before people start to come back.

The "good vibes" from the end of last year when the games didn't matter only go so far. This team still has a ways to go before it earns the overall fanbase's trust. They're off to a good start, but October is often the most deceiving month in hockey. It's littered with bad teams playing well and good teams playing poorly every season. The reality is, this team will still need to be relevant in the win column by the time football season is over in order for the fanbase to pay attention. When one team is a championship favorite, and the other finished miles out of a playoff spot the previous year, there's going to be disparity in attendance, especially in a less affluent market like Buffalo, where ticket prices are starting to put more of a strain on incomes. This franchise still needs to earn the trust of this fanbase, and it's nobody's fault but their own. |

For the deadline I dont need much, Id like to go out and get depth for safety and offensive line. I dont think we would have paid what they did but Rhoqan Smith would have been nasty in our LB corps/ |
