Losing this many defensemen at once is usually a freak thing, and they're more than weathering the storm without them. They're still very top heavy up front. I'd rather go get a forward from somewhere.

He’s 32 & been breaking down for years now

Is Lilgegren RH? I think he was hurt and is making his way back. Possibly why they need the space, both cap and roster wise. All would depend on the plus I guess. Seems like a favor to him when you can send him anywhere but just ask to send him down the road.
