If they grab 5 points in the next 5 games, Adams is going to need to show he's got a bit of a spine. They still need another top 6 forward for the long run. They don't need a high-end one, but Okposo isn't going to last up there all season. Make a trade.

One other thing occurred to me while watching the Pens. Playing them is almost like your 18 year old self playing your father in sports. He used to be way better than he is and he can still be dangerous at times but you see him fading. He might get you every once in a while but that ship is leaving port and it ain't coming back.

I get wanting to maximize what's left of Crosby's game but you can't have a roster that old. They should have done a mini-reboot.

You're welcome. Special night. One fella came up 5 minutes after i was on the jumbotron and gave me a receipt with about 50 #s on it for the 50/50. So many people said thank you and wished me and my wife well. It was a great night. Pens fans and Sabres fans were all quite nice.

They're playing well right now, but they've also played a number of teams that have been struggling mightily: Calgary, Vancouver and Pittsburgh to name a few. They're going to take some lumps coming up. Don't make the same mistake Botterill made in 2018.

I think it was Power's best game. He controlled the play in the offensive zone, had great puck control and no bad plays or give aways.

He is just getting better each game.
