Nice depth moves by Beane, Hines is a good blocker and outstanding out of the backfield. Marlowe is a nice move.

squats, legs, burgers, muscle. I think someone of his stature must needs take longer to develop than someone smaller. I'm trying to find the numbers but I doubt Chara was 250lbs by 25 years old. Maybe I'm wrong.

Tage can gain the weight, but it is not a good idea

Hines is signed on for 2 more years after this year and cook is on his rookie deal

So he’s gone after this year

- Sabretooth9

The reports are that Hines next 2 years are not guaranteed. I think if they were this trade would not have happened.

I think he could gain it, but also don't really want him to/think he needs it. Men peak physically around his age, so unless he focuses on it, I don't see it. He could be that much at the beginning of seasons but players lose a lot of weight just by the nature of the game as the year goes.

So, you're all saying the 20lbs would slow him down. That's where I disagree. I think he could carry it without notice. This is one where only time shall tell.

I don't know if it would slow him down. I just don't think a guy that wiry is going to put on that kind of weight. Some people just don't have that kind of metabolism (and I hate them all).

Take Tallness just the way he is as long as he keeps playing this way.

It'd be more trouble to gain that weight than it'll do him good, that 20Lbs will slow him and increase risk of injury.

He can get significantly stronger with minimal weight gain if any at all.

Why? Brown was a guy that was supposed to be an offensive wizard but ultimately ended up being more of a defensive center.

Casey Sucks has done absolutely nothing for us. Can he do a chin up yet? I'm fat and old and I can do at least 3 on a good day.

I cant stand him, I have never liked his game. IMO he is a Nylander bust........

Do you know you much it would take to gain a healthy 20lbs?

That’s an insane number.

tbh, so long as he keeps attacking straight at the goalie he's just about always going to be bigger than the guys he's crashing anyway. Just keep doing it. His shot isn't going away, as long as he stays aggressive he'll be one of those guys who gets his point every night and multi point nights every other game or so. Skinner will have a career high in assists this season.

At his height over two years? He could gain that in one offseason without even trying. Could he keep it on during the rigors of an NHL season would be interesting to see.

I guarantee you Tage Thompson can eat 7,000 calories a day like nothing.

He could, and that is exactly why he won't gain the weight. I remember basketball teams trying to put weight on their players by shoving cheesecake down their throats. It didn't work because of their metabolism.

Bills acquired S Dean Marlowe from the Bills for a 2023 seventh-round pick.
Marlowe played 700 defensive snaps for the Lions in 2021 but has always been more of a special-teamer than anything. But with Buffalo dealing with Jordan Poyer being hurt yet again, as well as Micah Hyde being out for the season, Marlowe might have a shot at legitimate defensive playing time for them in the short-term.

Yea I was gona say natural body composition be damned.

I know people who have been skinny their entire lives because of their metabolism/structure.

The second he stops eating 7000 calories, his body reverts back.

Also 7000 a day honestly do the math on how much you’d have to eat to get there.

In my google search I found two players.

If Tage is trying to play D line in the NFL then great. But I’d doubt he is.

Marlowe and Hamlin are two sledgehammers.

Let Poyer rest up. I think that duo will be fine in the interim

I think there were a few plays where cook didn’t look fast enough.

The Green Bay long reception by cook that went for a good chunk of yards. I think Hines or a fast back potentially takes it to the house and scores a td.

Solid moves by Beaner.
Cost relatively nothing, Moss wasn't playing anyway, Cook could use some more time.
