I think he has done a fantastic job of not kicking the can. It is one thing to go over the cap. It is another thing to keep trading away all of your draft picks like the Rams have done. He can make a move or two without hurting us next year. I think he has built up enough depth that we won't miss a couple of picks next year.

Right, but he didn't come within 10 miles of what the Rams (trading picks) or Saints (cap) did. He has played this all very, very well. He did sacrifice a little cap in future years to throw a little more gas on the fire.

Sure, but that really isn't much of anything. They could be compliant really quick by not re-signing 3 or 4 guys and making some smaller moves. Other teams have had much bigger messes.
