Also, yeah, they have a bunch of LTIR space, but they can't actually eat into Pacioretty's since they expect him back around December/January.

So it's there if they're desperate for it but it's not all that useful as it currently stands.

Most of the teams he named have temporary LTIR cap space. Wonder if Ek knows how LTIR works?

Do Leaf fans really trust the guy who painted himself into a corner with respect to the salary cap to make a wise trade/move to help the roster? The fact that he keeps doubling down and believing in keeping the core intact over the past 5 years is enough to know Dubas is in over his head.

So you sorted teams based on LTIR, but then no actual analysis of how it might be used? What?

You mention Carolina having $8.5M in space. Let's say Carolina trades some draft picks to add Patrick Kane right now. Great use of the $8.5M of space. But what happens when the $7M Pacioretty gets healthy? Did you consider that? Isn't that what got Vegas in trouble last year?
