He doesn’t know. Someone inside told him Petey was an arrogant little twat when he first came into the league, which was three years ago, and he’s still running with it. I can tell you from experience most guys who play at the pro level have a certain element of arrogance to them. It’s part of the makeup that gives professional athletes an edge when competing.

Add to that, Pettersson was 19 years old when he came into the league and he’d just had a tremendous amount of success in his home country pro league. I’m sure he’s matured, just like Jared McCann has, and he’s now arguably the best forward in the entire organization.

I haven't noticed but I have only seen two full games this year.

Keep in mind, that if the Canucks can allow Bear to gain some traction this season while holding down a roster spot, he should easily be worth more than a 5th at the deadline. If he can help contribute on the scoreboard, a RHD on an expiring contract might allow them to recoup a late 2nd .
