The geniuses at the TSN post game show starting to peddle paying for a top 4 RD. Amazing that they even see Heatherington as a better option than either JBD or Thomson.
I would much rather see any of those three as opposed to Zaitsev and Brannstrom. Need to see what we have.

Why can’t Sens management realize this |

Really sucks that Toronto is doing everything they can to let us take their spot in the playoffs this year and we are simply unwilling to oblige them.
Would rather not have the hope if it is not something that will happen. |

I have a rather simplistic outlook of believing that if the Sens finish ahead of the Leafs in head to head match ups and in the standings they will have a great season...perhaps even make the playoffs. Maybe not.
This is a a fragile Leaf team and they seem to be regressing. More important. 3rd and 4th line are no show most nights and defence is wobbly.
At least they were able to improve their goaltending by putting Murray on LTIR.
Finishing ahead of the Leafs might be less of an accomplishment than I had hoped for.

My target for the first 10 games was 5-4-1. Lots to happy about. Folks need to avoid getting ahead of their skis. There is so much to like and enjoy with this team. Like the Princess, some fans need to lower their expectations in order to live happily ever after.
It bothers me to hear Sens fans begin talking like Leaf fans. If you want to succeed, you have to be honest about what you are seeing.
Sens need more size on D. I do not think the loss of Norris is as easy to replace as some folks want to believe.

Important observation:
"It means being engaged and playing with purpose. There’s a lack of that right now. People can throw around buzzwords like “Ottawa lacks defensive structure!”
All that means nothing if you don’t have the personnel. Coaches can’t complete a pass or finish a check for you."
Sens lack a physical big presence in their own zone. |

As mentioned on Twitter, the Sens won 4 straight, then lost 2 straight.
So, do people need to relax, as was suggested? They are at .500, which is an improvement from last year.
Are the problems we're seeing right now just a team finding its legs, that will have good nights and bad, or was the team being severly outplayed yesterday an example of what is to come most nights for this team going forward? |

I am huge tennis fan.
FAA wins in Basle today. Third consecutive tournament he has won. He has qualified for the ATP final in Turin later in November. Right now he is playing the best tennis of anyone in the world. This week he is going to be playing in the Paris Open, as is Shapovolov.
Shapovalov is also playing great tennis and he finished 2nd in the ATP tournament in Vienna this week.
Great young Canadian athletes we can be proud to follow (I think Felix has earned over $3m so far this year and his endorsements should be worth at as much as that). |

Disappointing to hear so many guys on that radio station that are subjective rather than objective!

Yes they do, but they also lack simple breakouts.....the puck needs to be moving north....enough of this east and west garbage....no structure....it doesn't matter who you have in your lineup.....the players need to be given the proper tools to succeed and that comes from coaching structure.....sure the talent might not be what fans want on the blueline but if your coaching staff doesn't put the players in a position to succeed, then how the players grow their own confidence or have faith in the current staff.

So true! But PD also needs to give DJ some better tools.....as they say.
