Could all be true, but UFA is still tough to pass on.

Cincinnati's defense has been playing very, very well all season. If their offensive line can figure out how to be even serviceable, they'll have way too many weapons on offense not to be in the discussion when it matters at the end. They're going to be a very tough out for one of Buffalo or Kansas City depending on how the standings shake out.

My original premise is that the AFC is far better than the NFC, and Cincinnati is a big reason for that. Even if you want to say they're miles below Buffalo and Kansas City, there's not a team they're not equipped to beat in the other conference.
