Think there's been a big Mish mash of things with the Sabres. First is this a "see what you have year" and growth and development of the youngins, cause if it is then 2gms into the season isn't time to start flip flopping these kids around. And if you want Power to grow go get him a damn partner. Olo and Okposo are wastes of roster spots, but you can’t bench your captain, hence why it should have never been him in the first place.

Just an awkward group of forwards to build lines with, especially when you sit a glue guy.

Montreal goalie stopped 45 shots I believe, plus the Sabres got to pretty on a few plays they should have taken a shot and instead tried the pretty pass.

Are they really caring about development. If that was the case you don't throw things to the wolves after 2gms. I get the illusion of winning while not developing either.
