one of the guys that works for has a wife that works for a hospitatily company.. she books conventions all over the country, she Buffalo is getting more interest because of how expensive some of the places are getting. However, the bigger conventions want everything they can do within 10-15 walking distance from the hotel which is attached to or a few blocks from where the convention will be.. one group even told her that their stipulation was they wanted two high end golf courses within 10 min of their hotel. oh and nice weather

Not about conventions but companies up here in Canada are looking at boxes in the Sabres arena instead of the Leafs since its like a third of the price.

It is passing strange. If anyone asked me where to eat in Buffalo I could give them multiple options just on Hertel Avenue. I could give them options for any area of the city never once naming a chain other than Tim Hortons for a coffee.

That’s never really been an issue before though, it’s a convenient excuse.

See 2019, 10 game win streak in November when that building was sold out. There was excitement around the team.

Quinn and Krebs both played roughly 9 minutes last night at even strength, which was the lowest of any forward.

Quinn, Mittelstadt and Okposo all played 3+ minutes of power play time. Krebs played none.

Is playing Okposo that much on the power play just a hope to get something useful out of him move?

Ehh.. I'd say 40% Habs fans, but still...expected to see more people in the building. They announced around 12k, but I'd say it was more like 10.

One of the more frustrating games I've attended. We should have put up 5-6 goals easily with how we played in their zone all night. Tuch and Tage got way too cute a number of times instead of just shooting the damn puck. Oh, and Owen Power was dreadful last night. Worst D man on the ice for us. Where is the dude who finished the season with us last year? This version of Power is not him. Oh, and 6 total hits for the team in a home game. Good times.
