But the Yanks didn’t hit in the playoffs,
and there’s not much any manager could do about that
2 runs, 2 runs & 0 runs in the first 3 games just wasn’t gonna get it done- even if Boone made all the right pitching decisions

Sabres looked like the youngest team in the league playing their 4th game of a western road trip last night.

They were due for a stinker, how they respond with MON, CHI, and DET up next at home will tell a story. Win 2 of 3 and all is well.

Even when they were winning, the special teams have been god awful. If they don’t get that figured out, then they will be in serious trouble.

Other then that, the goaltending was bound to regress at some point and they will have to do a better job with Samuelsson out of defending high danger scoring opportunities.

With the roster becoming a (deserved) cap roster, I think he thinks he needs to be more cautious about doling out draft picks. He needs those cheap players. Especially considering his draft win rates.
