#55 has looked decent.
- Reubenkincade

You seen him play in Abby? He's an average AHL player from the games I watched last year. Struggles against forecheck pressure and defending against speedy players.

It kind of read like a copypasta, boomers like Don fell hard for it

The poster played it well, the grocery store copypasta would've been too obvious

Haven't seen much of him anywhere the last couple seasons. I had hope for him.

Ya, Rathbone struggles. At least with the injuries there shouldn't be they give Rathbone his chance" chants.

I thought Wolanin should've been given a look, he looked decent in camp. But yeah, it's basically just dumpster diving for dmen at this point.

Most of these guys can't make an outlet pass against the forecheck to save their lives and will struggle to defend against top 6 lines

Living in BC and not knowing about Diwali is strange.
- NorthNuck

Is it?

It isn’t a holiday I’ve every celebrated or participated in, there isn’t a particularly large Indian population where I live. I haven’t the faintest idea what Lent is all about, I don’t celebrate Easter.

Hoglander has been impressive. Podkolzin too. Guys are trying to make something happen.

Petterson seems real frustrated.

Yeah, I've been to the island and northern BC, it's a lot less diverse the further you get outside of the greater Vancouver area so I don't blame someone who lives outside of the area to not know about Asian holidays(Indian/Chinese/Japanese/Etc).

I try not to get excited about a veteran AHL'er having a good camp.

JR...

"When you start talking about injuries, you're admitting you're a losing team. I don't like it. I don't like using that as an excuse."

- VanHockeyGuy

JR literally used the injuries as one of his excuses a minute before he came up with this gem. I posted the quotes after the post game.

I liked that part where Myers skated the puck out and everybody backed off anticipating him to build up speed not realizing that that's literally as fast as he can move.

Myers needs a real partner. I don't know if I can stomach another season of watching him carry OEL.

I liked the part where they blindly throw the puck out of their zone and pray that it lands on a Canuck forwards' stick

OEL looks lazy to me, he's not bad at all defensively when he's engaged physically and moving his feet but when he's coasting like he was in that first period...it's ugly.

Rathbone trying to force too many low percentage passes but kids got skill. He needs NHL minutes to improve.

He needs to learn how to play defence to earn those minutes.

What's the cost of getting rid of OEL's contract, prospect and a 1st?
