Didn't expect the Canucks to be this bad especially having Boudreau right from the start of training camp.
- Oildrum

Minor blips along the way. Excellent effort tonight.

A loss to Seattle could be the final blow. Crosby and co the game after on the 2nd half of a back-to-back will dummy this defense. I haven't checked, but I believe the Devils usually own us so they could lose 10 in a row to start the season if they can't beat Seattle.

#teamwhiner is ready. 0-10 would be epic.

Funny he says that a day after he talked about he didn't need to change his game even though he's been on the ice for 80% of the goals against

At least he's upping his trade value Pump and dump baby

Many didn’t know what to expect with pre-season and camp issues.

Maybe they lost whatever mojo they thought they had with loss to Oilers. Haven’t recovered and keep slipping into that hole of frustration.

But the good news is they can sell like crazy, tank the season, and spend another 5 years rebuilding lol.

And officially retired from coaching. He's only interested in management but maybe that's your point because Vancouver needs a HUGE re-set.

Fun fact: only two #Canucks players playing in tonight's game have been with the organization longer than Guillaume Brisebois: Bo Horvat and Thatcher Demko.

By choice. He had a lot of things going on personally with his mother that made him want to take the year off.

Wrong. He said he needed time to deal with personal issues.

"It doesn't mean I'm not going to coach. Just not going to coach right now. I've been doing this for 25 straight years and I've put a lot of stuff on the back burner and I think it's time. The one thing I do know, and it's a mistake that everybody makes, is you think you have time and you don't. And so this is my time when I can get to a lot of things I've put on the back burner. I have to take care of those, for peace of mind for everything so I will be 100 percent in if I get back into it and I'll be a better coach for it."

The owner was happy with the effort, which is all that matters.
