Miller thinks he hasn't left anything out there with play without the puck this season even though he had 2nd most goals against in the entire NHL(maybe most after tonight). Now you see Schenn calling him out and him taking exception to it...

For the people who say he is the real captain on this team because the existing captain doesn't go after players after cheap shots need to get their head on straight. A drunk loser drug addict 4rth liner who drags his team down can do that and yet not be a leader. people put way too much emphasis on that. Miller is selfish and has always had issues with team mates. We knew this when he arrived but go after players a couple of times and you are a alpha leader. There is so much more to leadership and he leaves a lot of boxes unchecked... not just the fighting part like Bo.

I've never seen/heard Bo throw players under the bus, pass the buck or not take the weight of a poor playing team on his back when the media wants answers.

Green got fired after the jersey was tossed on the ice. That just happened right now...

Hopefully the jerseys being thrown on the ice are #9 & #6

JR when asked what is happening? Starts off with "we had a poor camp/preseason."

Makita tried selling me this idea that JR and PA don't think the preseason means anything. I said they wouldn't have a job if they thought that....

That's settled. Pure BS...

John Shorthouse bless his heart … the last 5 minutes he just rattles off excuse after excuse trying to find some light at end of tunnel but you can tell his heart is hurting.

I have to stop picking 5-1 Canucks.

This top 9 isn't as incredible as you guys led me to believe.

Pretty sure that if Quinn Hughes played, it would have been much closer , probably like 6-2, or 7-3

That's JT Miller, our 7 year 8 mil per season "SUPERSTAR", the most overrated and overhyped player in the NHL. He's like Alexei Yashin when he was signed by the Islanders for that ridiculous contract years ago, or Alexander Daigle.

He talks a lot of contradictions. I couldn't help cringing at this one.... says they didnt want to rush into anything... but first offseason they lock up the forward core to a mountain of money.... asked why after his comments about the D, they didnt address it. Says they tried in the summer and its not easy. So what does he do... doesn't trade the assets, locks them up and make them worthless in a trade down the road... if the NTC's get waived that is. This also comes back round to his comment about being patient... patient isn't giving it a try in the summer then giving up and signing the pieces to contracts no one will want.

So now what, keep Miller and move Bo. They couldnt get what they wanted with Miller being shopped... Bo is the lesser asset... so how is that going to work?

What a fkn mess... these guys went full Benning right from go... after taking over for a mess they were completely aware of... again I say this, because of what they knew... it makes it worse than Benning.

I'm ranting... can't even bother to clean up the post... you know what I'm saying...

As a goalie mask enthusiast, nice to hear the talk with JR on some mask history.

That said, highlight of the night for me was Craig Anderson’s kit. Pads and everything were sharp and I’d love to get that mask one day.

Hey, relax, it is only 6 games into the season.
All is well on the Canucks front.

Russians recommend to play here, Swedes refuse to sign with the clubs that drat them, the WHL is neglected, and analytics are thriving.

I bet it had something to do with him not going for that puck in the corner... feet not moving... put everyone in a scramble followed by him giving the puck away 10 seconds later and then the nail in the coffin goal. He could of got to the puck first if he tried.

I mean, he just threw everyone under the bus the day before about his play without the puck so he deserves to hear it from someone who he doesn't intimidate.

Of course they do, the Russian Mafia has a huge presence, in Yaletown where they can live like the oligarchs. The Swedes have IKEA so they don't get homesick for the meatballs and poopty minimalist furniture that is always missing a screw or part and has instructions only a madman could figure out.

The Canucks had lots of chances, demko needs to be better, I thought they played pretty well until the third period with 3 d out, no push in the third is not a good sign.

I agree with your rant, and yes I understand what you are saying.
I admit, I was happy to see Benning gone, but was very apprehensive about the Rutherford hiring, as well as the Granato hiring.
I was all in favour of the Castanguay hiring, as she is a very smart individual.
Get used of it, as this group will go withoffense and skill, zero consideration about team toughness.
Rutherford has already thrown Boudreau under the bus, as it is his fault, for the players assembled. Lol
