Speaking of, has there been any update on him? I forgot he was even on the team until I was looking at Capfriendly today, be nice to have him back.

I was one who wasn't thrilled with the hiring, but said I would wait until after the draft, toooo see the direction this group was going to go.
Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with the draft, even though they went with BPA.

I like Rutherford but maintained from the onset he ain't here to build no 3-time cup champ team like in PIT nor does he have a Crosby-Malkin-Letang to build with. You can hit/miss with those players no so much here lol.

Allvin jury is still out but again we knew he had the big scouting background very similar to Benning but almost zero GM experience. Everyone wanted experience but seemed fine with the Allvin hire.

A loss tonight probably means a trade. You can bet Rutherford has been on the phone since 8am today take it to the bank.

I wanted Edler Tanev gone for sure and still maintain it was the right thing for the country club. Healthy we were fine last year without them. I wasn't a huge Stecher whiner like most and D!cki I know was oft-injured but he was serviceable. Point was we had players in place.

Because trading every top 6 player worked so well for EDM... We will have a high chance at Bedard and the top 5 is full of elite centres to replace Bo. Id trade Boeser before Miller if we can, and with his history we can probably trade him for a 1st to a couple bubble teams with cap space.

Not convinced? Lol no sh!t. We are adding a 1st to Brock to trade him. We simply can’t afford to keep him around for the next 3 years. Buy him out now and send a message to the rest of the slow cowards on the team
