I don’t expect any trades until the TDL. The only move will be Bruce getting canned. Teams probably don’t have the cap space or appetite to take on our expensive contracts for underperforming players

Notice all the Canadian teams besides Calgary have good forwards but not so much on the backend, now in order to improve your d you need to trade, the American teams have most of the good young ones and their asking price is through the roof. think critically about this.

Why game 10? Even if they go on a hot streak (hard to imagine at the moment) they’ll even out and be chasing all year. So best case scenario, a mid to lower pack team on the downslide. That doesn’t match up to any of the targets JR said.

Except for the American teams who also have no good defenders, young or old, or the ones who traded a boatload for someone else’s D. But other than that, all the American teams are stacked.

Because Aquilini is an emotional owner and the fans will be going wild by then, he’ll push the panic button. I’m not saying immediately after game ten things will happen if this continues, I’m saying it’ll set the wheels in motion for player changes.
