I can’t believe Jones didn’t pick up on this mistake at the start of the game.

So Ekholm does play the right side. Why do I feel like Nashville offered him to us but Fletcher had to go off board and get the more broken player?

Very astute observation. Before the trade Friedman said that he thought Ellis was off limits and Ekholm would be moved. But Friedman said Ellis screamed Philly. He implied that With Ellis injured at the time and not likely to make an impact soon he would help Philly when they were competitive again.

This is how I remember the rumors.

That play happens multiple times a game and the wrong position and this can happen.

I’m not pushing anything. You’re just picking the world’s thinnest argument. Ekholm was rumored to come here. Everyone here remembers this except you. With Ellis being here now, this only furthers the rumors at that time that Ekholm was at least discussed.
