Agreed. They already have won 2 games this year after they fell behind by 2 goals. They NEVER did that last season even once. That probably is about the only difference though. They have been winning with timely scoring and stellar tending, and that isn't really sustainable long term as we have seen in the past.

Last year until about November both hart and homes played insanely well to keep them in games which they didn’t deserve to be in. I find that to be a similar theme from last year.

Percentages seem to have changed again. Last year the worst team had an 18.5% chance at 1st. This year it’s 25.5%. I don’t know why.

Starting in 2022, you cannot raise your pick through the lottery more than twice in 5 years. I’m not sure if everyone was wiped clean or if the prior 5 years carries over. Perhaps that is why the percentages have changed.

Also, dead last is 100% for top 3, just as last year was. That’s huge in this draft where 3 players have been touted as normally being #1s in a quality draft season.

If everyone was wiped clean in 2022, they’re fine. But if they didn’t wipe everyone clean, and I don’t think they did, then they cannot advance past their standing due to Nemec and Hughes.

Exciting, tanking, it doesn’t matter. Chuck Fletcher is in charge and the only time he gets close to success of any kind is when his dad’s friends visit him.
