Wrong. - Marwood
They ain't paying Lou but they are still on the hook to Green for $5.5 million. Can you imagine paying Green that amount of dough to coach this team let alone paying him that much NOT to coach the team?
Jim is also being paid this season (his contract expires after this season) but not sure what the dollar value is.

Wow epic. If Boudreau gets canned in the next few weeks that's three coaches we are paying not to be here!!
Not when the new regime does the same crap as the old regime. Signing 3rd lines to 5 million dollar contracts, paying a winger almost 7 million, because he can occasionally shoot the puck, overpay a one dimensional winger until he is 38, for 8 million.
Not sure where you get your information from, but, I am pretty sure this kid is the highest ranked defenseman, who is in the top 10 and is also right-handed.
Then you get rid of the player(s) causing the problems. - VanHockeyGuy
It's always the coach that pays. Players aren't worth anything (or what you want for them) when playing this crumby. Opportunity passed in the summer ... we going down with this ship.

JR clearly wasn't 100% sold on Boudreau, hence the one year deal. The mandate is to make the playoff's which isn't unreasonable if we're to believe what management is telling us.

Yeah. Miller, plus one of Horvat/Boeser. It'd be wishful thinking to hope we get rid of OEL. I wasn't on board with it when the season began, but I've seen enough. Build around Hughes and Pettersson, screw everyone else.
I guess that happens when you play wingers at the centre position. - Reubenkincade
Petey is better at wing, Miller and Boeser need to be separated, Miller needs a defensive forward with speed on his line. Boeser needs to be built up in order to trade.
Petey Horvat Boeser
Garland Miller Mikheyev
Kuzmenko Lazar Podkolzin
Pearson Aman Joshua/Hoglander

He isn't the only one that needs to go. - Reubenkincade
5 assists, almost a point a game. The problem is special teams, 5 on 5 they are okay. Looks like Aman might be a good find, kuzmenko adjusting he will get better, miky played 2 games missed camp just like boeser, podz is only 21, Hughes 22, petey 23 there will be growing pains but they will be okay.
I don't buy Boudreau's positive takes, I do agree with JR stating the team isn't playing the right way. After 10-12 games we may find Mike Yeo stepping in. - VanHockeyGuy
