To make matters worse the latest Smurf Swede we selected (team had him 7th) is having a brutal start 😂. Fire everyone |

It’s not as bad as it seems, but just remember these five games when you’re slurping up the next win streak. - 1970vintage

The team needed another skinny skilled winger, those are in high demand around the league |

People are starting to see the red flags that have been popping since the beginning of this new managements assembly. |

I think we have a decent management group….BUT. They are too cowardly to upset the fanbase and ownership. Bring back Keenan. He would have placed Boeser on waivers and gutted the team in a week
Boeser was signed because fanboys would be sad if they let him become a UFA
Bruce brought back because fanboys would be sad.
It’s theme! Cowardly leadership and players |

Yup, this franchise needs a big balls GM who isn't afraid to shake poop up regardless of media/fan freakouts.
But how do we know Francesco isn't a fanboy himself who would cry if a GM came in and tried to trade 1 or out of Hughes/Miller/Pettersson/Horvat?
Canucks need some rich chinese owner who isn't a fanboy, doesn't watch the games and just wants to flex on his billionaire friends. |

How is a management that is too cowardly to do what it takes decent?
The days of the majority of fans clinging to Boeser are so far in the past. The number is small. Take a break from the edibles and take a look at the Boeser sentiments with a clear mind for once.
When I was suggesting taking very little or letting him walk after last season the negative responses were about player control(echoing PA). I don't remember anyone gasping about a popular player being let go. It's true quite a few called it fair money when he was signed... something people argue based on goals only. All I cared about was using his or Miller's cap space to help set this team on a more positive path. Unfortunately, they (frank)ed that all up.

I dont know man. No one had a bigger meltdown than me when Brock was signed. That much I’m sure of. Our management is better than the last group. But they still are cowards. Not sure what the solution is at this point |

For the NHL to pull an Adam Silver and force Aquilini to sell the team because he thinks he's Mark Cuban/Al Smith/Jerry Jones but without their business and sports acumen as well as a douchebag? |

Better? Better past history but they seem like they need to go through the same mistakes with this roster that Benning did. I think Benning may have had a better idea of who to keep and who to trim at this point. I'm not saying Benning is a good GM or he should still be here but this group committing $14.5m to Boeser and Miller until he is 37 yet trading a 2nd to create $1.5m cap space is more Benning than Benning. His contracts left on this team are more reasonable. Also, Benning wasn't afraid to let a free agent walk... for better or worse. Not as cowardly I guess.
I also doubt JB would have drafted Lekkerimakki. He seemed to be heading for more grit like the Podz pick for example. Either way, what do we base this claim that this group is better? They put a political correct priority on hirings to start, stood pat on TDL, stood pat on the draft and then picked a soft swede, committed 4.5 on a 3rd liner on on July 1st, the Miller and Boeser signing... put themselves in a tough situation with Bo now... turned their backs on the D problem for forwards instead... this is all in less than a full season. I'm looking for the positives to balance out all that. Where the (frank) are they? |

Didn't you get the memo, the stealth tank is on. All viable players will be traded by deadline, we'll be flush with 2023 draft picks and win the draft lottery.

Problem is, 2023 draft is already being overhyped so picks will be very hard to acquire |

Woke to watch the highlights. Nice to see 4th line show up. Rest of team seams road weary. Worst way to start season for fragile group.
Oh well they just pile on their frustration. At least they are giving wins to teams who need them. |
