But I can't help but worry that we're going to fall...Again... Into the trap of a competing season getting in the way of being able to draft valuable assets because we play our way out of the great talent available in the early stages of the draft.

I dunno... My brain wants them to crash... My heart is loving this, though.

meh, if this group continues to win or at least progress the way they are, I don't think they'll absolutely be in need of another top 5 pick. what is happening right now isn't a bad thing, and we've seen time and time again that drafting high doesn't necessarily guarantee a winning team anyways...

I mean Guhle and Caufield are probably our biggest assets right now and they were both mid first round picks, you can still win a couple of games, establish a winning mentality and draft well
