So far so good. Team is playing strong on the puck and tight coverage. Gru has come up big as well. Beniers is just damn fast and shifty. Managing some decent chances too. So far they’re hanging in there and holding their own. |

Out of the 1st and no score. Team played a strong road period. Big Rig throws down. And Gru holds the fort. We got ourselves a game tonight. |
|
|
|
Schwartz set up in the slot on a PP and Kraken lead 1-0. 😍😍😍
And McCann cleans up the trash in the crease and its 2-0!!!!
Cant get it out and Avs able to set up the goal. Gru had no chance. Soft play by Schwartz in his own end comes back to bite them. |

Holding the lead through 40. Just a huge game by key guys so far and Gru is on tonight in net too. Hoping they can keep it up. |

Francouz keeping this one tight but damn. Robbed Wennberg. But MacKinnon to the box and big PP chance for Kraken now
Aaaaaaand give up the shorty. 3 on 1. How did you cough that up?!?!
And Gru just visited the bench?!?! Uh oh
Just before 9 min mark and Jobes comes in for Gru. On knees stretching in butterly going right to left. Suspect its a groin pull. |

There ot is!!! Khuley scores!!!!!! 3-2 Kraken!!!!
HUGE goal!!
6:05 to go. Cmon guys.
2:53 to go and high stick on Beniers!! PP and totally can burn the clock. Just pleeeeeease dont give up another shorty |

30 seconds. Goalie out.
Through the crease!!!!😳🤯
Final seconds. Poked away and out. Got em offside. 3.5 seconds.
Thats the game!!!!!
KRAKEN WIN!!!! 3-2😍😍😍😍 |

Huge game by Gru, Larsson, Big Rig. McCann was big sans visor and Kuhlman scoring and game winner was massive. Schwartz really had a good night despite couple lapses.
Big statement game there even if Avs had no Kadri or Landeskog. |

Joey D'Accord has been recalled and is up from Coachella which is not good news at all. That means Gru is injured, though to what extent isn't known since the Hak refused to speak with the media today. From the looks of it, it was the groin, and it means now the team will lean on and run with Jones / D'Accord as the goalie tandem.
While I am not confident if this is more longterm with that tandem, so far Jones has not been that bad. Much more sound and structured in the net, a far cry from his start in LA and after where he tended to flop and be very reactionary.
The more worrying trend here comes in Hellberg being claimed off waivers when the team tried to send him down. That means only D'Accord on an NHL contract. IF either JOnes or D'Accord goes down this could get very ugly very fast and the options to sign and bring in are not going to be very stellar at all here.
Hopefully can hold out and keep playing well off the Colorado game until we get Gru back.

Game day VS Chicago.
No Gru and no Mrazek. Battle of the backups. Hopefully Jones is up to the task and Seattle can keep their game intact coming off beating Colorado. Be nice to steal 2 points.
No Gourde. Moved to non-roster for personal reasons. That’s a loss for this game up the middle for sure.
Stalock in net for Hawks. |
|

McCann scores as Geekie throws it back and its 1-0 early.
And Burakovsky makes it 2-0.
Aaaaand former Kraken Blackwell sets up a Hawks shorty. Ugly. Way to go Dunn
And after dominating the period Kraken blow it and fall apart last 3 minutes. Hawks PPG makes it 2-2. What a complete waste. Self inflicted wounds to steal momentum. |

Aaaand Hawks mount a comeback. Time running out and its 5-4. 🤮🤦♂️🤷♂️
Just snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again. |

Yeah Jones looks like Jones of old. Gru has his moments and team playing strong in front of him its not bad. But man wasn't a big fan of Jones to start with. D'Accord is not the answer either so hopefully can start getting and developing a proper pipeline there or find a better answer here.
Supposedly only a few days for Gru but....

Gru had been moved to the IR. So much for day to day. Knew it was going to be longer with it being the groin that was injured. The Kraken now have to ride a tandem of Jones/D’Accord which is not at all ideal. Gru/Dreidger was going to be troublesome, but they had something to prove, especially with a stronger team in front of them this year. Now it comes down to this?!
Utterly no real faith in Jones. Buffalo who is red hot comes in and I think it will be a long night for the Kraken. Especially with the weak goaltending. |

Game time VS Buffalo here.
Really not looking forward to this. I don't think it is going to be a good night. Will see but after they got outhit 40-8 in Chicago, and played that sloppy? Plus the Jones factor too. |

7:35 to go and dont get it out and ends up Cozens gets it off the post and its 3-1. Buffalo gets some life.
Okposo a stupid offensive zone penalty and McCann buries the PP marker, 3rd goal in last 3 games now and its 4-1.
Big PK on Sprong at end of the period.
Huge 40 minutes. Kraken are having a game tonight. |
|

Beniers tallying another on the PP 5-1 Kraken
Sprong with the assist and damn what a night and game for him.
Unbelievable. |
