Well he's pretty volatile, that's for sure.

Last year he was a .908 sv% which is below average. Only a marginal increase in stats to a .910 when he was traded.

This year's small sample... he's at a .776.

Man..that's what Shaq would call horriawful....

Pens are one of the oldest teams in the league, those dudes have been to MTL before lol the guy who played the worst lived in Montreal and went to the SCF with them. That ain't no excuse lol good teams lose to bad teams all the time. Game 3 of 82, just move onto the next. It's a marathon not a sprint.

When they didn’t show up against Detroit’s AHL team, it was “only preseason.” Now it is only game 3 of 82. Even 40 games in some will say they will tighten it up come playoff time. Will they? They limped into the playoffs last year and cost themselves home ice advantage. They blew three leads against the Rangers so you just don’t flip a switch come playoff time. They might come out flying against L.A. and put a little win streak together but once they get back in their comfort zone the losses against inferior teams and blown leads will start all over. Good teams can beat you 5-4 or 1-0, and right now the Pens are not one of those!

No one here thinks this Pens team is the cream of the crop this season, or that they are cup favorites, but they're probably not as bad as your doom and gloom sky is falling a$$ suggests this morning haha. Pens played the Rangers great in that series and very unfortunate injury and timing of injuries was their downfall, not overall team play.

Did I say they were not going to make the playoffs? Where is the “doom and gloom sky is falling” in my statement? I just stated that there is a pattern that has developed with them the past several years that I see continuing. Continue to ignore it all you want and celebrate when the pens win 6-2 and Crosby and Guentzel get their 3 pts but don’t think that is going to happen in the playoffs.
