So far we have learned the Habs can be competitive...at home with the last change against teams not willing to play physical against them.

Arizona@MTL on Thurs
Dallas@MTL on Sat
Minn@MTL on Tues

on the road after that

- Symba007

Dach can be productive, except at faceoffs and when he has to pay a price to score a goal.

Great at 4 on 3 thought

tu penses au 4 contre 3?

Dach is 21yrs old...missed a lot of time, it will take time before he reaches his potential, we have to be patient.

Matty Berniers will be hard to beat for the trophy IMO.

Last night's result are almost perfect.

The Habs won.
Our best players were named Caufield, Suzuki, Guhle, Dach, Monahan and Harris. Which is exactly what we want to happen.

Montembault was solid. Kept the Habs in the game so the great times could happen.

Dadonov and Drouin had good moments, giving them some kind of possible hint of a value eventually, maybe.

Hoffman sucked enough to be sent to the pressbox in favor of Rem Pitlick.

Really, great result.

Good chances he'll be in the conversation.

So will Mctavish.

And Guhle will get some votes but probably won't win it.

If Guhle does well, he might end up close to the top 5, not really a top 3 candidate at the moment.

I know it's "typical" for the guy scoring the game winning goal to be given first star of the game.

But yesterday, that should have been Guhle.

I gotta say.

The Rangers look pretty unstoppable right now.

Lafrenière seems to be coming out of his shell in his third season.

We should take notes, might take Slaf at least that amount of time to do so as well.

agreed, guys are often ready when they take the next step when the get to 21-22yrs old if their development was not slowed down by injuries.

excellent point. Lafrenière was much better than Slaf at the same age. he was the clear #1 pick unlike Slaf. he played on the 3rd line , still does btw. patience!

Think he's on the 2nd line now with Trocheck and Panarin. Probably helps with the production.

I know. He's played 4 NHL games, we won't know the extent of his potential before a couple of years at least.
