they should leave them together, Monahan and Dach. that's the duo to build around your 2nd line.

Really wouldn't mind if they signed Monahan... Can't believe they got a 1st for his contract... Guy can still play very well.

If he keeps playing well and stays healthy there would definitely be interest in hun at the trade deadline.

If they don't manage to sign him I hope they still get a 1st for him at 50% retained.

I might be the odd man out on this, but I'd sign Monahan to an extension (give him till January to see a larger sample size, and if he's still playing well sign him), and then if you still want another draft pick this year, trade Anderson. I love the guy, but Monahan looks like he can bring as much leadership, can play center or wing, take face offs, and just be better. Andersons money then swings to Monahan and hopefully you have a bit leftover as well.

/yeah.

If he keeps playing like he has in the first 4 games, then we might get something really nice at the TDL.

If he plays like this all year, it might be worth considering keeping him.

But time will tell, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

All depends of the contract he expects as well. Guy might want to test the market next summer if he has a good year...

Probably, though if Anderson is playing even decent and they keep the price tag to a first round pick and probably a player swap to make the money work, I could see teams being interested.... but Hugo haven't been known to ask my opinion either 😂😂
