Not Bill, but FWIW; IR can be set retoactive, dating back to Thursday IIRC... and is only like 10 days... the big thing though, as I see it, is that they can replace him on the roster. My guess is it is a concussion, but I wouldn't put too much concern on his being placed on regular IR. JMO

Yes. My wife and I have a house in East Texas but I come up here all season (rent guest room at my sister's home) and takes trips home during long Flyers road trips plus over the holidays. Have been doing it that way since 2010.

Appreciate it, I didn’t know if they needed the roster spot, I know they don’t need cap. Or if it was a little more serious

Any work if they recalled someone else. Don’t understand why not unless they are just trying to retain cap.

The Flyers are in LTIR. LTIR cap space is use it or lose it. There is no saving cap space by not calling a player up.
