But 13 shots on goal in the first 40 minutes is not acceptable, and 22 in the whole game is terrible.

At least the managed to hold the Caps to 3 shots in the 3rd.

which is why in a way he's perfect for the job right now, he isn't winning games by himself and hiding the team's flaws, which is what a guy like Carey Price would often do. they'll most likely end up getting a high draft pick, but without looking like complete garbage from one game to another throughout the season.
