That new board advertising technology is really annoying... it is one thing to swap the ads mid-play (too many changes), but to also have them animated is super distracting. You really noticed when the technology went down mid-period and they had the default static board ads up.

They need to tone that poop down.

Then throw the split-screen betting app ads every few minutes as they are about to drop the puck... and being embedded into part of the broadcast content, too.

apparently there's been some broadcasting issues with these new hi-tech board ads during games this season, where players just disappeared behind them lol.


but yeah I also find this is getting excessive. might as well bring back the glowing puck and have the colors advertise a product when players shoot the puck.

the reality is after 20 games you won't even notice it like all the other ads out there
