What's up with the recent pilings of carreer ending injuries? I thought medecine was getting better. I feel like a few ago unless it was your head they could rebuild you and you would come back stronger.

But Bob Hartley said this week that Byron was part of his hockey school this summer and he could see he was in pain on the ice and could'nt do alot of things

I think it's a Price like case, wants to play but needs to think about life after hockey and being able to be functional and pain free in real life. It's actually good that athletes are listening to their bodies now instead of just stuffing pain killers and then end up completely hooked on them and facing depression when the thrill of the game is gone.
