From a TV perspective it was extremely quiet. Outside of the beginning of the game you want have known it was their home opener.

It may take a little time to adjust to the building. There are certainly things that can be to the building to increase the sound atmosphere. Winning games definitely helps also.

Does Varly get the start or does Lambert go back with Sorokin? Has he indicated as to why the rotation maybe?

Hopefully Salo just had opening night jitters and stops using his azz as a hat.

It will be interesting to see how Lambert handles Salo after a pretty terrible performance. There's no doubt that if Trotz was still here it wouldn't be a question that he'd be sitting tonight. It will be a window into his thinking regarding young players.

Like I said I’m not saying it’s not sold out or the crowd isn’t loud I just think for whatever reason it doesn’t come across on tv. I know it’s loud and sold out. It’s just weird how every game I’ve watched not at UBS you can hear a pin drop

Agreed. I think you throw him right back out there and give the kid a chance to redeem himself. Young defenseman always take time. I’ll also add one of those calls on him was pretty absurd but his overall play was piss poor. He continues to crap the bed you have to give someone else a shot soon though. Nobody has that long of a leash this season can’t have a bad start.
