4-3 flyers after a couple weird bounces end up in New Jersey's net.

How much do you think he should get per year?
- furio16

He should reject any Flyers offer regardless of the amount of money.

Do not disagree.

Makes you wonder if the reports are true why would he want to stick around? He will get similar money in free agency. From a team in a much more favorable position to win and be competitive. Though cant wait to hear all the clichés on why he likes Philly and wants to stay.

Now flip side is take the money and do not risk any injury or what not. Cant blame him for that.

His numbers are probably going to be terrible this year with how bad the team is. Might as well take the bag now.

Idk, his numbers were fine the past two years. Agree to take contract, but not for that reason. Can’t pass up $6M long term, no brainer.

My neighbors just knocked on my door furiously. I answered thinking something was wrong, he’s 80 years old and pissed he can’t watch the flyers opening game. He doesn’t understand why living in philadelphia and being a Comcast subscriber for over 30 years he can’t watch the game. That now he has to get espn+ After spending countless dollars over the past 3 decades. He called Comcast to complain. They told him he can purchase nhl center ice. Lol. Unbelievable

I'm looking at this lineup tonight and i can't help but to be excited. I agree with Chuck Fletcher. I look at this lineup and I think youth, speed, tenacity, EXCITEMENT.

Who is going to step up and a be a part of the future of The Standard?

Ivan - 6 million +
Ellis - 6 million +
Risto - 5 million +
Sanheim - looks like 6 million +
Tony D - 5 million

Is that the most over paid underperforming D in the league? Who is worse?

I'm not worried about the team losing, I'm probably more worried about the "bad luck".

They could finish with the record you posted above and be dead last, but when the balls go flying they will end up having 2 teams that barely missed the playoffs probably jump over them.

This franchise really does seem like a no win no matter what situation. By the time this team gets to the point of "We expect", not "We hope", "the team will make the playoffs" anyone 25-26 and older is not going to be part of it and won't be any kind of impact for the club.
