I can’t wrap my head around them signing Murray. That’s about as far from a sure thing as they could have done. They needed a sure thing in goal. It’s one game and I get it who knows, but pushing all of their coins in with that guy is borderline laughable.

Agreed. Like I said who knows maybe Murray regains whatever form he had with the penguins when they won the cup but that has looked like a one off for some time now.

love that they lost that game. one of their savvy veterans giving up the game winner was great too. hats off to St. Louis not challenging the game tying goal with less than 2 minutes. It was very close to offsides but rather than challenge and give leafs a PP if he loses just let it stand. Habs score a minute later .. awesome.
