Happy 70th birthday Vlad. I still remember Anthony Bourdain describing Putin to a (nervous) friend in a restaurant in Moscow. Mid-level bureaucrat who’s now master of the universe. Short, that’s very important. Likes to take his shirt off. Businessman with an ego so he’s like Donald Trump. Did I mention he’s short. - Canada Cup
The biggest supplier of arms to Ukraine now is the Russian army. It does have a Trump-like incompetence to it.
Make sure you get your prognostications in, my Hockeybuzz friends. - Atomic Wedgie
When is that? I have my season draft on Monday and wasn't going to be looking at anything until tomorrow - but I'd likely update the sheet by Monday. I can promise you this: I'm not picking San Jose or Nashville for anything.

I did answer a few e-mails and told someone I was available to talk.... on monday. - Scabeh
A million years ago, when I was about 28, I was out drinking late one night and crawled in to work around 11:30 in the morning. No one had noticed (I was often meeting heavy at the time, so absences from my cubicle were frequent). I answered a couple of e-mails - one of which was a critical issue that my boss was involved with - and then a buddy called and said they were going up to the Bev for lunch (a nearby craphole bar/tavern that we usually went to on Friday) and just . . .never went back that day. At 5:00 I returned to my desk to get my backpack and my boss starts walking over to me, and I'm thinking, "Oh. poop. I'm in for it."
He says, sincerely, "Thanks for your help today. We couldn't have dealt with most of this without you. Have a great weekend!"
So it sounds to me like you've done too much already.
