It was claimed others did worse, so just don't worry about what he did because it is not as bad. And those other guys are still playing.... some in the NHL.

My point was it will distraction for the team for years, especially considering how terribly Hockey Canada is managing their own scandal right now.

I just don't want him or that poop around the team, regardless of talent.

yeah, I think most fans in MTL are smart enough to understand the difference, I don't think it'll be a distraction, as a matter of fact the organization is turning it into something positive, to raise awareness and show people can make positive changes. there will be dumb pieces of poop who might still mock the whole thing but they should be a minority imho.

If this guy had the upside of being Victor Mete-light, then people would not be this forgiving of him... Talent does/should not equate or be the determination of how much people should be given leeway.

He didn't sexually abused her though, and I agree with you on the hockey Canada train wreck. An ex-girlfriend is in a trial for that kind of poop so I am with you on this. However, in Mailloux's case, he showed the top of her head; the picture I saw didn't show any part of her anatomy so I won't put him in the same boats as those dip$hits and like Pete said, he paid his due, doesn't erase the mistake but he is doing things the right way since that immature mistake IMO...
