Well then you are blowing a Call up. I knew it was gonna happen, it's just a shame cause this team was set once Comrie signed, there was no competition
- Buff36

I don't see why you think that. Just think about how different the opening night roster looks from a roster in early December. I'd prefer that UPL and Pilut were on this team right now but at the same time I am not worried about it. They'll get their chances.

Just further proof that preseason means almost nothing.

Is there any chance that Pilut would extend with them?

There’s more to the preseason than a few games

Not happy with that one either. Still want to know who made that call and why KA went along.

Thank God Lindgren looks like a decent find especially if Johnson walks. Johnson will hurt, kid has really grown into a very good D man and he can play both sides pretty fluidly

Pilut loses his waiver exemption pretty quickly, once he's called up. Interesting situation.

Is Johnson's ceiling any higher than a #4D? I still think he comes here but it isn't the end of the world if he doesn't.

UPL is where he should be, Pilut should be playing. He was better than Bryson.

Sabres pipeline is pretty weak at D, and No it wouldn't kill them, but I would have liked to see a top 4 of Samuelsson Dahlin
Power Johnson
And yes I think Johnson will be better than Joker fairly quickly

I am sick and tired of all the hypocrites regarding Okie on this board. Raise you hand if you wanted Okie Traded, Waived, Bought Out every year "besides Last year", if all of our hands are not in the air, I am calling BS.

Now we want to sign him to and extension? he does not fit in with this team anymore and now everyone is happy he is Captain?? Good lord.

He should not be named Capt and Zemgus should not have a letter on his chest at all. He represents all the losing we have done over the years.

GMKA totally swung and missed with the Letters on this team besides Dahlin. Should of been Tuch C, Then give Okie an A, Dahlin A, trade Okie at deadline or let him play it out if he don't want to be traded then let him move on into the sunset, but DO NOT resign him. We don't need to sign a 35-36 year old DAD anymore on this team. if we are signing vets, they are SCORING vets.

Everybody wanted KO bought out or traded 🙋‍♂️

KO played very well last season, which changed minds.
I think you're missing this last season

He proved to be THE CAPTAIN. The team responded to him, last season in that "dad" role.

Completely swinging and missing includes picking dahlin and given tuch the "C" and okposo an "A" instead of a "C".

You would have given girgs letter to tuch.
At 26, His 12 career buffalo Sabres goals must have really impressed you☝️

Letters go to vet team leaders generally

You are not comparing the utility, in whatever facit you want, of Girgensons to Tuch, right? Right? Lol!

We'll just chalk that up to taking a Mulligan.

I was honestly shocked he came back. At this point unless he comes up and plays like 50+ games he is gone.

If Johnson walks it ends up being a flyer on tage for ROR. That hurts in that manner. But Johnson is also a guy we could use. An all around d man that is a #4 guy.

If people here are this fired up over Okposo still being on the roster (a guy who was very good last year), they would completely (and rightfully) lose their mind over us getting a vet who is completely toast. The guy is done.

Although he MAY be happy to be here I don’t think he provides anything more than Mr fall down so I don’t see the point.

Let me get this straight we can’t trade for actual good players because they will block young talent.

…but Nic Foligno is a guy we should pick up?

I might prefer that middle name over Robinette
